“Dear Mr. Smith, On behalf of myself, the members of Council and the residents of the Village of Bentleyville, I would like to thank you for your generous donation of roofing materials which will be used for the repair of the McFarland Homestead roof.

This restoration project has been undertaken with limited funds but unlimited volunteer help particularly from the Boy Scouts and some members of Village Council.

We are looking forward to the time when the Homestead will be ready for occupancy by the Boy Scouts for the Boy Scout Museum.
